Kanami

🌌　I really enjoyed learning Japanese through song lyrics of 『カシオピア係留所』 with Kanami-san in our first lesson. She prepared the materials very well and provided alternative, commonly used words when we encountered older or rarely used ones. She also gave me valuable advice on how to improve my language skills. It was a great experience!　🎆

I had a super great lesson with Kanami! I took her class, which focuses on learning a song in Japanese. It was the perfect class for me because I love music and enjoy singing. I really liked the class because not only did we had a really interesting discussion about the song, but I also got to practice reading in Japanese, which is a skill I've been working on and would like to do more of. I hope to continue taking this class, as I learned so much and had a lot of fun! Thank you!

One of my goal is to push my listening skill so I specially requested Kanami Sensei not to use English. I am happy that Kanami Sensei accommodated my request and spoke Japanese at a slower pace for my understanding. On words that I didn't understand, she used different words/examples to explain. She also gave me a little test at the end of the lesson reviewing new words we learned today. Thank you for the first lesson.
