Yurika

I have been taking classes with Yurika for a while now and I’ve enjoyed every single lesson with her. As a teacher, Yurika is energetic, patient, and incredibly sweet, always making sure I understand what she is saying and giving me plenty of opportunities to speak and express myself - always willing to help me create correct sentences if I’m challenging myself beyond the level of Japanese I am comfortable with. If I have a specific grammar point that I want to delve into, Yurika will prepare a lesson tailored towards that specific request. In case I don’t have any requests myself, she has plenty of ideas of what grammar and vocabulary I should learn next, always making sure to challenge me without going uncomfortably above my level. I always leave her lessons feeling like I’ve learned something new while having a lot of fun. She speaks English well and can explain both vocabulary and grammar in English, when I do not understand the Japanese explanation. ゆりかさん、今までありがとうございます！

I’ve wanted to write a review for a while, but I kept forgetting—so here it is now :D I’ve been having lessons with Yurika-sensei for a year, and I can confidently say that my Japanese has improved significantly thanks to her lessons! I’m now becoming more comfortable reading texts with little to no furigana and expressing my thoughts on different topics. Of course, the sky’s the limit, so I’ll continue my Japanese journey with Yurika-san and take my level even further! Thank you / ありがとうございます / Спасибо 🌸

She is very easy to talk to. I don't feel nervous when speaking Japanese and she is a great listener and very helpful with translations. I'm looking forward to her next lesson!
