Another great lesson with Igor! We spoke about medical topics which was very helpful for my work, as well as about Carneval!

Igor is an amazing teacher! Hardly knowing any Portuguese, I started taking lessons with him, initially talking in Spanish and intending to derive Portuguese from it. Not sure it was a good idea, but I think it works really well because (1) he insists on talking in Portuguese, but does so incredibly clearly, such that I could understand most of what he says even in my first lesson, (2) he supplements grammar at whatever occasion do help me build a stronger foundation, and he seems to know the structure of the language very well for someone with classes in this price range... he's also the most efficient typist I've ever had lessons with on Italki, haha. He's super energetic, supportive, and caring -- and an incredible conversationalist!

I very much enjoyed today's lesson with Igor where we spoke about a range of topics including Carneval in Brazil. Something I like about Igor's lessons is that he gives you lots of time to speak, and is patient in letting you try out new structures and voabulary, while being able to correct errors and fill gaps in a very considerate and encouraging way.

Another excellent lesson with Igor. I'm learning so much new vocab and phrases with him, in a very fun and engaging way!
