When I was younger, I spent many years traveling around the world. I am very interested in other cultures and religions and enjoy talking about this. At university I studied Hebrew, majoring in Kabbalah, which is a subject I write and teach about. After living in Holland, England, and France, I now live in Portugal on a small farm where my partner and I practice permaculture.Mostrar traducción

As part of my love for traveling, I really enjoy meeting, and talking to, people from other cultures. I love hearing about other people's lives , so we will never run out of things to talk about. Because of my university background in linguistics, I am very familiar with all the stages of learning a language. I can assist you not only as a native speaker, but also as someone who has gone through the process of learning a new language many times. My lessons are custom-made for each student. I am open to using the material you provide, to helping you with exams and o ther assignments, or to simply talk. In any case I like to take all the time we need, knowing that for a lot of people a stress-less learning process is beneficial. If you want I can give you homework, or otherwise we can concentrate on your conversation skills. In general my classes are relaxed and inspiring.5.0

Great conversation with Eric. He's interesting to talk with and does a good job of giving corrections. I'd definitely recommend him to those wanting to practice Dutch!

Eric is an incredibly kind and friendly tutor. His open attitude allows the student to feel at ease from the very first minutes of the lesson. He skillfully balances the student's need to express themselves freely with his own input, resulting in a genuine conversation. I'll definitely be coming back for more!
