Soy CELTA cualificado y tengo 10 años de experiencia en la enseñanza. La mayor parte de este tiempo he estado trabajando individualmente con estudiantes como tú en italki. También he enseñado en campamentos de verano y en escuelas de inglés en Oxford en el Reino Unido, y durante 2 años en China, dando clases a estudiantes de todas las edades incluyendo principiantes, intermedios y avanzados.

En nuestras clases exploraremos temas y funciones lingüísticas que te resulten interesantes y útiles, y utilizaré un enfoque léxico para enseñarte un nuevo idioma centrándome en su significado en contexto. Te ayudaré a practicar estrategias de escucha y lectura que te permitan comunicarte sobre cualquier tema, sea cual sea tu nivel actual de inglés.
Me apasiona mi propio aprendizaje y me interesa cómo está cambiando el aprendizaje en el siglo XXI. Es importante aprender a estudiar de forma efectiva por ti mismo, así que como tu profesor te entrenaré para convertirte en un mejor aprendiz y te proporcionaré recursos útiles, sitios web y apps para ayudarte a estudiar de forma más eficiente. Mi estilo de enseñanza consiste en divertirse; si no estás disfrutando de tus clases, ¡probablemente no estés aprendiendo mucho! Disfruto de las interesantes conversaciones que tengo con mis alumnos, y me intereso personalmente en ayudarte a mejorar para que puedas comunicarte de forma más correcta, segura y fluida en inglés.

Michaelss is one of the best teachers I have had the opportunity to learn from. Not only is he understanding and patient, but also provides valuable feedback and suggestions for improving vocabulary and expressions. A very knowledgeable teacher, gives lots of examples of the vocabulary I’m interested in. He has an eye for tiny differences between advanced speaking and AUTHENTIC advanced speaking.

I highly recommend Michael for speaking practice. She always brings thoughtful, engaging topics that make conversations genuinely interesting, not just useful for learning. She is well-educated, open-minded, and a great conversationalist. At the same time, she pays close attention to grammar, corrects mistakes gently, and helps expand your vocabulary. Lessons with her are meaningful, enjoyable, and truly effective.

Michael is my favorite teacher on italki because he is always well-prepared and patient. I never feel pressured during his lessons, yet I've noticed significant improvement after taking classes with him for a while.
