Jeff Tutor

I really liked this class because of the teacher's friendly approach. He tries to understand the problems of individual students and gives them space to express themselves. He supports them in speaking their target language independently, meaningfully and decisively. At the same time, he corrects them if they make a mistake, but he is always kind. He tries to make the classes fun and interesting according to the needs of the individual.

I have been working with Jeff for months and he is a wonderful teacher! He is patient, encouraging and positive which are important traits when language learning. Jeff has a very clear and easily-understandable accent in Spanish, and gently corrects your pronunciation if it is not entirely correct.

Jeff puts a ton of work into the slides and the clases in general. All of my classes with him have felt like university-level classes (all in Spanish of course) that spark interest and discussion.

Jeff has been my Spanish teacher for years. He's been patient and very flexible with me. With his help, I've learned new aspects of the language, practiced speaking and reading, and deepened my understanding of it. He is now teaching me one of the most challenging areas of Spanish, at least for me, the subjunctive. I am impressed and very happy with the lessons, their pace and content, and Jeff's expert teaching style.

If you would like to gain a deeper understanding into Colombian and Latin American culture, politics, economics, etc. this is your teacher. All materials are very personalized to you and very engaging. His classes spark conversation and an insightful conversation into culture and politics. These classes have also allowed me to develop a more descriptive and articulate way of speaking in Spanish that I needed to take me to the next level of my Spanish learning journey. One of the best teachers I have had.
