Yuri is a great teacher! She does a great job of keeping me talking with interesting topics and helping me understand and level her language when I get lost or confused. She's done a wonderful job of building my speaking confidence in a really short amount of time!

She was super helpful walking through my goals and making an actionable plan to attain it. She corrected me as I spoke and I felt like I was getting immediate feedback. I’ve been learning for a long time and have no issues speaking daily conversation, so I feel like I really stagnated. So I’m looking forward to more speaking practice

Very knowledgeable and resourceful. Spoke entirely in Japanese and quickly assessed what level I was at to better facilitate learning and goal achievement.

Yuri is a very good teacher. She is a good conversationalist and is good at teaching grammar points. She creates a very low stress but focused class.

I've been studying with Yuri-san for a while now and I highly recommend her to anyone wanting to improve their Japanese! She is always super nice and helpful, and perhaps most importantly, adapts to your level of speaking (yes even my caveman-level Japanese) so you have the confidence to speak and improve, creating a positive feedback loop. You will learn a lot. OSUSUME SHIMASU!

Where to begin, I've been working with 有里さん for some time now and here is how things have been going. First of all, she's incredibly patient because I'm a horrible student and constantly have to be reminded things that I'm supposed to know and obviously forgot. Second of all, I really like going over previous lessons and she likes to take time and not rush ahead in new material that I don't have the mental space to learn. Finally, I really like that she doesn't speak any English and she's constantly making me speak Japanese and I have to use any knowledge I already have. Sometimes it's extremely challenging but I think that this is the way to learn a foreign language.
