I’ve been having lessons with Yuna for just over 2 years, I feel very lucky. Even after all this time I’m super excited for our lessons, she’s incredibly sharp and always has a response that keeps the flow going. She’s not only selective with when to correct and when to let a mistake slide, but does so in such a way makes you unafraid to make mistakes, and sometimes rephrases your mistake as part of the conversation naturally. Pauses feel thoughtful and comfortable, not awkward or disengaged. She focuses on what you the learner wants and doesn’t force what’s convenient for her. Cheers Yuna! :)

I’ve been learning with Yuna for some time now, and it’s been such a great experience so far 😊 She’s incredibly attentive and always writes down notes on everything we talk about, which helps me keep track of new vocabulary and grammar. No matter what theme I bring up, Yuna is always ready to support it, offering vocabulary and explanations that match my level of understanding. She really makes every lesson feel personalized and gives me the confidence to keep improving my Japanese. I always look forward to our next lesson!

Yuna is a patient teacher that will help you learn with time if you have the patience yourself! 10/10

Yuna is the best Japanese teacher I've ever met (personally I think she's the best teacher on earth:)! She is fun, kind, supportive, energetic, willing to listen and to help all the time. Besides that she's so professional and creative during teaching, and I always learned a lot from each of our class. From our Japanese conversations, I love how she could quickly capture what I was trying to express, then structure in Japanese so I can learn the words and grammar. Her notes are clear and super helpful, I can always review what we had talked about in class. I also love how our topics can vary so much, the expressions and words I learned from class can really enable myself to [think] in Japanese in real life scenarios, which is 1000x better than textbook-like rigid expressions:). Thank you Yuna for being a wonderful teacher!

One of the greatest teachers I've had, I will unfortunately not be able to keep up the level of class during my summer break but I look forward to working more intensely with her once the summer break is over.

She was so good, that I plan on getting 10 classes next year!!
