I am from Pohang, South Korea. I am currently doing my bachelor degree in International Relations and previously majored Hotel Management. I worked two years as a translator in the military and marketing companies. I have experience as a mentor of AIESEC project and Habkido union. I am interested in psychology, ecology, international politics, world economy. I love teaching. I remember I loved teaching since I was little. I formally first started teaching English to Koreans when I was 20. As K-pop and movies gain popularity, I saw the increasing demand for Korean language and decided to jump in. After many lessons I realized that the best way for me to serve people is to teach my first language. Now I use English to help people reach their goals. My lessons cover a wide range of the Korean language. I teach beginners, advanceds, and TOPIK preparers. I try to communicate with my students as much as possible to know what their hobbies, strengths, weaknesses, goals, needs and motivations are. My classes are much less like lectures but more like seminars. If the student wants it for fun, we will have as much as fun. If you want good scores from the test, we will study as hard as diamond. I have just finished my last lesson with 선강수 선생님 before my study abroad to Korea and I did not think it was right to NOT give my final thoughts about him as a tutor.
