Yo como profesor
Soy una antigua formadora de profesores TEFL para el Cuerpo de Paz de Colombia y antigua profesora de Geografía y Culturas del Mundo. Me encanta viajar y explorar el mundo, e inspirar a mis estudiantes a explorar y ser curiosos era la parte más interesante de mi trabajo. Una gran parte de los estudiantes a los que enseñé eran hispanohablantes ELL (English Language Learner), así que integré muchas prácticas de enseñanza TEFL en mi clase. Uno de nuestros datos favoritos era que si una persona habla inglés y español, puede comunicarse con el 80% del mundo. También trabajé con el Ministerio de Educación de Belice como especialista en apoyo a la alfabetización y facilitadora de talleres durante más de un año, ¡los idiomas son mi pasión! Mi filosofía pedagógica es que el aprendizaje verdadero e impactante ocurre cuando los estudiantes están interesados, comprometidos y se divierten. Creo que las clases deben centrarse en el alumno y adaptarse a sus intereses personales y estilo de aprendizaje. Mi objetivo es crear un espacio seguro para que puedan cometer errores sin avergonzarse y aprender de ellos. Nuestras sesiones deben ser naturales y divertidas.
Mis clases se centran principalmente en hablar y escuchar a través de la conversación guiada. Me centro en los niveles B1-C2, pero ocasionalmente trabajo con A2.

I really enjoyed my casual conversation class with Brynn! She’s easy to talk to, a great listener, and made the conversation flow naturally.
