Hello everyone,
I am a teacher and language learner and love to share my interests with others and help them get comfortable speaking German in any situation they might encounter in real life. I am very appreciative of people making the effort to learn my mother tongue, so don't worry about making mistakes or taking your time with the language, you will improve with time. I am very patient and understand the struggles of learning a new language as I have spent a couple years on italki as a student myself and continue taking lessons regularly. As a teacher I try to do the things that I have found most useful as a learner. We can speak about what interests you, read texts together or watch videos online and then talk about those. I do want to help you with whatever you need, so we will start by speaking about your goals and expectations regarding the lessons. I do not believe in studying grammar charts or vocabulary lists, but I do believe in improving those areas by gaining a natural understanding of how a language works through listening, reading an speaking.Mis clases y método de enseñanza
My lessons will focus on your needs and expectations. If you have materials you want to work with, we can do that. Otherwise we will have conversations in a relaxed setting or use free materials online.5.0

Lovely first lesson with Jana! I hadn't spoken German in 6 years, but she made me feel super at ease thanks to her calm demeanour and explained everything very clearly when I asked for clarification.
I appreciate her going along with my requests in terms of materials :)
