Hello everyone, nice to meet you. My name is Gilha, and I am living in Seoul now. When I needed to improve English to take my major at an art school, I would exchange both Korean and English with many international people and because of that, I have been interested in teaching Korean to foreigners. I would teach how to speak Korean to my American friends with my own Korean tutorials, and I was excited when they could speak some Korean sentences with my teaching method. 한국어를 가르치면서 느끼는 점은 한국어를 저의 모국어가 아닌 학생들이 배우는 입장에서 언어를 이해할 수 있어야 하는 것입니다. 한국어를 외국어로서 공부하는 외국인들에게는 한국인이 깊게 생각하지 않은 같은 의미의 작은 차이조차도 얼마나 이해하기가 어려울 수 있는지 알게 되었습니다. 더 공부하여 저의 학생들을 위해 더 쉽고 효율적으로 한국어를 가르치기 위해 노력하겠습니다.
What I felt as teaching Korean here is that I have to understand Korean language with a learning perspective of Foreigners. I realize that it will be able to be extremely hard for the foreigners to understand Korean even small differences of the same meaning that Koreans don’t care deeply. Therefore, I will study Korean more and try to teach Korean easier and more effectively for my students.Mis clases y método de enseñanza

1. Korean Basic Alphabet Class (Students will learn how to read and pronounce Koreans as well
as learning to make Korean word principles)
Learning simple Korean words (Correction of wrong pronunciations)
2. Practical Korean-speaking Class:
Basic: Learning how to make Korean sentences and speaking them
Intermediate: Making more complicated Korean sentences and speaking them
3. Advanced Class (Reading, simple writings in Korean, general conversations, etc.)

Gill is the best teacher that I ever had. We practice a lot of Korean grammar and speaking. For me it is the best teacher because he is very patient and he is proffesional. Thats why he can hundred times say to you same thing to you to understand.
I am eleven years old. And sometimes after school I am tired, but classes with Gill are passing on one breath. Gill is a real discovery for me! I want to have a classes every day!

I'm really enjoying my classes with Ktutor Gil!
He creates fun, engaging classes that he adapts depending on the grammar I make mistakes with in our opening conversations, or based on questions I might have.
I really like his style of teaching, and I always look forward to our class.
He also recommended some very useful free reading materials!
