Maybe now, on the first day of a new year, is a good time to post an updated review of Yulia-as-a-teacher-of-the-Ukrainian- language.
In a word - actually, that will most likely morph to more than just one word- (almost) sublime.
(Almost) all the elements of a supremely effective teacher are present; authoritative knowledge of the subject matter, the ability to explain the intricacies of abstruse grammar points clearly and yet concisely, the innate empathy towards the struggles of a learner attempting to get to grips with a new language and the ability to both engage and inspire the student at hand.
So, an absolutely top-notch teacher. Why then, the (almost) qualifier? Simply put, Yulia is just a little too 'nice'; if you want a strict, unforgiving and unsympathetic martinet, she is just maybe not your best choice. Otherwise, you cannot do better ...
