Lucas DELE

It is always a pleasure talking with Lucas! I think that we have broached every subject imaginable during our many conversations over the last few years. As a teacher, Lucas is patient and strategic in how he deals with student errors. I feel that his feedback has been invaluable in making me a more proficient Spanish speaker. Even though I STILL make many mistakes with the subjunctive, it takes only the slightest prompt from Lucas for me to self-correct. I would unequivocally recommend him to anyone seeking a superb Spanish instructor. That I'm approaching my 300th lesson with him says it all!

Sr. Lucas works with both of our kids age 12 and 14 and has been a huge asset. He is very organized and takes his work seriously and works to differentiate the kind of approach he takes with each child. They are advanced Spanish learners, so we are grateful for the level that he is able to help them continue to advance and grow in reading, writing and speaking.

I just noticed I've now done more than 100 classes with Lucas. It is a testament to how great a teacher he is, and how easy it is to talk with him. He has definitely brought me out of my shell and I feel a lot more confident in speaking and communicating now. Gracias por aguantarme durante estas clases :)

Our son is having a great learning experience and enjoys his classes.

This was my very first lesson with Lucas. My goal is to prepare for the DELE, but first, my goal is to reach a C1 level (currently at B2). Due to my passionate goal, I informed Lucas I wanted a tutor who would be very militant and point out each and every error I committed so that I may improve in all areas. When I say he did just that, he did just that. I really appreciate his attention to detail as he pointed out errors I made which he stated even natives of the Spanish language typically commit, but because I'm adamant about being grammatically correct, he ensured I took note of this AND provided me with very consise, clear, and understandable explanations on how to properly use certain verb tenses based on the context of conversation. I highly recommend Lucas. He's very versatile and adaptable to your specific needs and learning style.
