June tailors our classes to fit my needs exactly. She perfectly blends a good amount of reading, speaking, and listening into our lessons on day to day and deep conversational topics. I have been seeing June regularly for the past few years (albiet not as often as I should) and I am so happy with my progress. I can now read essentially basic chinese (menus, text messages, books with my daughter), my listening comprehension has improved greatly, and I am able to converse and express myself. She is an amazing teacher, I highly recommend her

I've been learning with June for 7 months now and I am still amazed when I can read a passage. I had zero knowledge when we started. Her patience and flexibility ensure the lesson is unique to me and my goals.

I have been learning Chinese with June for six months, and I am very happy with our lessons. She always adapts to my needs and explains everything patiently, no matter how many times I ask. June also shares interesting stories about life in China and its culture, which makes learning even more exciting. Another enriching lesson with June. She introduces me to so much of the culture and takes time to teach me the ins and outs of these neighborhoods. Also a little entymology about the characters we are learning.

It's too bad I can only pick 3, because she does it all! The lessons are always interesting and I am always learning which is the whole point. She is very engaging and introduces things about the culture as well.
