I'm a Burmese teacher with over 10 years of experience and a genuine passion for sharing my language and culture. I utilize my own carefully developed learning materials that cover all four language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking, providing a structured and effective learning experience. We can connect via Zoom or Google Meet video chat, allowing us to focus on improving your listening and speaking skills in a dynamic and interactive way using the platform that works best for you. Fun lesson. Cherry knows how to feel my linguistics needs and cater for them regardless of the contents of the book. This makes for very intellectually stimulating exchanges which clearly boost my motivation.

Today, we focused mainly on reading comprehension, which is exactly what I need most. I could tell Cherry put a lot of thought into slowing the pace of our lessons down, and incorporating reading practice into lessons, in order to ensure my reading stays up to par with other skills (speaking, listening, etc.). Great lesson!

Used an easily available Burmese instructional manual, which was helpful. Good judgement about when to introduce new concepts to a beginner. Speaks English well. Very good first session.
