My name is Adela. I was born and I live in Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia and Herzegovine. I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and I have Masters degree in Human Rights and Democracy, which I completed in English.Mostrar traducción
Yo como profesor
I have a lot of experience in translation of different kinds of texts, theory, poetry, movies, simultaneous translation from and to English, Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian language. As an artist and cultural activist I led numerous educational workshops and lectured at different kinds of institutions, schools, universities, galleries, museums, so I have extensive experience at various teaching methods for learners of different backgrounds and ages. As you probably already know, until Yugoslav wars in the 90s, Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian were taught in schools as one language, Serbo-Croatian. So, these 3 languages share the same grammar. They differ only in a small number of words.Mis clases y método de enseñanza
As a cultural worker and socially engaged artist, I am already ready to talk with you on numerous topics from culture, social and daily political topics, art and what not. If you want to work on your grammar in a serious school way, we will use currently the best grammar textbooks. According to your wishes and needs, we will use more literature sources, music, and if you want to study harder, I will be glad to prepare regular homework, too. As a teacher I promise to be patient, but also passionate and encouraging. I am OK if you cancel a lesson or if you are late. I am sometimes late and if I do not feel that I can give my best, I ll try to reschedule or offer a free lesson instead.Mi material didáctico

Not my cup of tea. The materials were just two Word documents with no pictures or tables in them. One of them was just a list of words with translations to English. The lesson was pretty monotonous. The teacher ignored me when I said that I had previous knowledge, and just proceeded to teach from scratch. I didn't like the lesson.
