¡Namaste! Soy Sanchita, de Lucknow, una ciudad del norte de la India con una rica y colorida historia y una encantadora cultura sincrética. Soy lingüófila, narradora, ex periodista y profesora con 15 años de experiencia en comunicación en hindi e inglés. Enseño hindi e inglés a todos los niveles. Creo que aprender un idioma es como abrir la puerta a una nueva y rica experiencia cultural. No puede ser completo sin comprender los contextos socioculturales en los que una lengua ha crecido y evolucionado. Actualmente estoy aprendiendo varios idiomas. También soy autora. Yo como profesor
Mi trayectoria como profesora empezó con mi trabajo en el Instituto de Estudios Profesionales en 2020. Formé a estudiantes de 10º, 11º y 12º curso para preparar las pruebas de acceso a la universidad. Fui su mentora, ayudándoles a mejorar sus habilidades comunicativas y a aprender a dar lo mejor de sí mismos en debates de grupo y entrevistas. Más tarde, en junio de 2022, mientras seguía trabajando en mi empleo a tiempo completo, me uní a la comunidad de Embajadores Globales de Duolingo como profesora. Tomé clases durante mi tiempo libre y organicé sesiones regulares para asistentes de Europa y EE.UU., recibiendo una sólida calificación de 5 estrellas. El rico intercambio cultural y la exposición global que obtuve en estas clases, me impulsaron a hacer de esto mi vocación permanente. Mis clases y método de enseñanza
Me gusta relacionarme con mis alumnos como un amigo. Mis sesiones se desarrollan en un ambiente de comunicación abierta y bidireccional, teniendo en cuenta el ritmo de aprendizaje y la conveniencia de cada alumno. Les animo a hacer preguntas, no sólo sobre gramática, vocabulario, pronunciación u otros aspectos del idioma, sino también sobre la India: su patrimonio antiguo, su riqueza cultural, su rica diversidad, su gente, su topografía, su historia y su lugar en el mundo moderno. Solicito regularmente la opinión y las sugerencias de los estudiantes para ajustar mi estilo de enseñanza, si es necesario, y personalizar el plan de clase para que se adapte mejor a sus necesidades. I really enjoyed Sanchita’s class today! We studied the stories of Akbar and Birbal along with the Rajkumar, and it was both fun and engaging. I especially liked learning new words in Farsi and their equivalent in Hindi—it made the class even more interesting and educational. Looking forward to more classes like this!

Sanchita ji is such a fantastic Hindi teacher! She has taught me so much about complex Hindi grammar rules, and always gives relevant readings and activities to practice those rules afterwards. When I am struggling with difficult materials, Sanchita ji pauses the lesson to figure out what is challenging, and then will adjust her methods to support my learning. This is a sign of an adaptable and hard-working teacher who is open to finding new approaches to ensure that students truly learn the material!

She designs lessons around countless grammar and vocabulary topics to explain the nuances of Hindi conversation and meanings, and then follows up with additional practice. Great help with a story from a book I bought in India, that I had I transcripted from Devnagari and tried to translate, which was a good exercise, Sanchita explained the grammar, sometimes difficult in the story which helped me translating the story better. Then I got some grammar exercises, and definitely understand the points better now having worked on them, made mistakes, and got the explanation for them - when to add the pronoun versus when it is not necessary + how to conjugate the verbs in the first and second parts of the sentence - thank you so much Sanchita!
