My name is Oubo-Gaou Abdou-Rassidou, a linguist with a passion for language education and cultural preservation. Although Ewe is not my native language, I achieved native-level proficiency by growing up in a community where it was spoken. I hold a master’s degree in linguistics from Khazar University, along with a diploma in Arabic from Qatar University, and have taught English and French. As an Ewe language teacher with native-level proficiency, I bring both linguistic expertise and cultural insight to the classroom. Although I didn’t formally study Ewe, I grew up in a community where it was spoken daily, allowing me to acquire the language naturally. My Ewe lessons focus on speaking and listening, guiding students from zero knowledge to complete fluency. Through a highly interactive and conversational approach, I help learners build confidence in expressing themselves naturally in Ewe. Each lesson is designed to engage students in real-life dialogues and practical conversations, gradually improving their speaking and listening skills. This lesson was sooo much fun!! He got right into presenting!! I started talking right away. He helped me write the words down in a way I would be able to understand and pronounce. Definitely going to book again!

Just completed another good lesson with Oubo-Gaou. He was very patient in repeating the spelling and pronunciations of words. I was also challenged in terms of building proper sentence structure within the language which is instrumental in proper communication.
