Hei! I’m Lizzie, a native Norwegian tutor from Kristiansand. I’ve lived in the U.S. for over 20 years, studied in Belarus and Greece, and hold degrees in biology, political science, and counseling. I’m currently pursuing an MDIV (Master of Divinity) which is a degree in theology, as well as a degree in medicine.
I offer fast-track, structured Norwegian courses from A1–B2, combining grammar, speaking, and cultural context. This approach works especially well for Norskprøven, relocation, or professional purposes.. I use proven methods that help vocabulary and grammar patterns to truly stick.

He viajado mucho por todo el mundo y me encanta conocer a nuevos alumnos mientras aprendo sobre diferentes culturas. Adapto mi enseñanza al nivel y al estilo de aprendizaje de cada alumno, ya sea principiante o avanzado. En mis cursos intensivos, suelo utilizar «Sett i gang I» y «II», combinados con ejercicios en línea, cuestionarios y tareas similares a las de los exámenes. I am currently accepting new students for intensive Norwegian courses at levels A1, A2, and B1. You can choose between a mini-intensive course (22 hours) or a full-intensive course (45 hours). Most students study between 1.5 and 3 hours per week. The courses are suitable for any learner, regardless of background, I do not however, work with children.

Elisabeth is a fantastic teacher! She explains the concepts very clearly and systematically and is great at providing useful examples to help further my knowledge. I would definitely recommend her to any student wanting to learn Norwegian at any level!

The teacher cancelled the lesson on me, saying that she doesn't have room for any new individual students. For some reason, italki did not stop me from booking with her.. and I feel that a change needs to be made to the italki system to more clearly display teachers' real availabilities. now I am waiting for a refund.
