J'apprends actuellement le grec, ma 7️e langue. En plus du français, je parle déjà anglais, espagnol, italien, suédois & allemand. J'utilise aussi italki comme élève et je sais qu'il peut être intimidant de parler une langue étrangère. Mais c'est en faisant des erreurs qu'on apprend. Vous verrez que vous êtes capable de bien plus que ce que vous pensez ! 💪 ◾ My native language is French. I also speak English, Spanish, Italian, Swedish and German, and I'm currently learning Greek. I also use italki as a student and I know speaking a foreign language can be scary, but we learn from our mistakes. You'll see you are capable of much more than you think. 💪

Exactly what I needed! I studied French for many years when I was younger, but never developed the ability to comfortably hold a conversation. Now at 50 year old, I really want to try to actually learn to speak French with people, and Mathilde did an excellent job of putting me at ease and helping me to develop the confidence to actually try and converse with someone. I have already booked more lessons!

Mathilde is an amazing instructor. She is passionate about languages. This comes across when she is teaching. She has high expectations and does not allow her students to take the easy way out. But she is also kind and friendly and punctual. Many friends and family have remarked that my French has improved remarkably! I highly recommend her as a teacher.

Prior to every lesson I have with Mathilde I am unsure what I will talk about for the whole lesson, yet during every lesson I completely fill all the time talking to Mathilde in French. Mathilde is excellent about giving me lots of time to talk, but also corrects my mistakes in a way that does not distract me or reduce my enthusiasm for speaking French.
