Nasira Erguin

Learning Catalan with Nasira has been a blessing. Her natural talent for teaching combined with her extensive preparation makes each lesson feel like I am making real progress. She is a true polyglot, with a deep knowledge of multiple languages including Basque, Catalan, Spanish and English. This understanding, not only of the challenges faced by every language learner, but also of the similarities and differences between closely related romance languages, has helped both the depth and speed of understanding. I can't recommend Nasira enough, especially if you want to learn the fundamentals of your target language properly.

Nasira is a very supportive and flexible teacher, and also a very nice person! She is happy to provide materials, or help with specific questions, which has been very useful for me. Very much recommended.

Being a language teacher myself (Spanish) and having had more than one Basque teacher in the time I have been studying, I can tell you that Nasira is an excellent teacher. She almost instinctively has a gift for giving her students comprehensible input that pushes you linguistically but doesn't overwhelm you. Estoy muy agradecida de tener a Nasira como tutora de catalán. Es muy paciente y amable, y siempre encuentra la manera de ayudarme a retomar el hilo cuando me quedo bloqueada en mitad de una frase o cuando no encuentro la palabra correcta. Cada clase me siento más segura con mis habilidades y con más ganas de seguir aprendiendo!
