A super interesting way of starting to understand Icelandic. Flemming has a deep interest and understanding languages. His style really helps my brain stay interested. The overwhelming is broken down and made attainable. Super enjoyable.

Flemming is really great at meeting you where you are in your Icelandic journey. His lessons are always a delight. Pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, literature, history of the language, humor…he’s ready to take you through it all in your quest to master this beautifully complex language.

A great teacher, who is a musician so he is very aware of the sounds of a language, which to me is very important

Put the language in historical and social context which made the lesson more relevant and easier to remember. Perhaps because he’s a musician focused on the sound of the language and how to create those sounds which was helpful.

Flemming is response, respectful, and enthusiastic to reach. It was easy to begin building a rapport and his insights into Icelandic have been illuminating.
