Anjali

Anjali is an excellent Hindi teacher and I recommend her for any new learner. Through our 12 lessons together, my ability to speak and understand spoken Hindi continues to grow after I started as an absolute beginner. Classes with Anjali are challenging yet low-stress and fun. She often takes a student-centric approach, teaching through topics that I am interested in such as history and travel. A highlight so far has been a whole lesson centered around learning past tense while simultaneously covering vocabulary related to ancient Indian history. Anjali makes herself available to contact outside of class if I have any questions or study advice. Additionally, she accommodates last minute schedule changes if necessary, which ensures I am still able to make at least one class a week despite my schedule.

Anjali is an exceptional teacher. She came well prepared with a detailed lesson plan and structured the session thoughtfully. She started from the very basics, ensuring a strong foundation and taught with a calm and patient demeanor. My second class with Anjali and I really enjoy the casual style of the lesson as well as tailoring vocabulary to what is relevant to me and my learning goals. Looking forward to my next lesson and reviewing my study notes in the meantime. Highly recommend!
