My first lesson with Mai sang was such a pleasure. I haven't practiced Japanese in a long time and I was a bit nervous. But Mai sang was so patient and encouraged me to speak more and gave me constructive feedbacks right away which helped to boost my confidence. I am looking forward to taking more lessons with her! ^^

Mai sensei is an excellent teacher! I have had a couple tutoring sessions with her and I’ve gotten much more confident in my speaking and listening ability! Mai is an amazing teacher! She always makes sure that I understand the material before moving on. Mai also incorporates several language skills into the lesson (listening, reading, speaking, etc.). All of the material is relevant and useful for everyday life and my life. I highly recommend Mai for beginners and intermediates in Japanese.

I love Mai-san’s lesson style. I took a grammar lesson with her, and it was a lovely surprise because it was not stiff and textbook-like at all. Instead, she used fun, game-like activities. Of course, the activities were carefully designed so that I had to use grammar naturally in order to keep the game going, so before I knew it, I was getting speaking practice as well. It was great fun! ❤
