Junko

Great lesson with Junko! We started with free talk, and talked about holidays in the US and Japan. After that, we continued to work on chapter 7 in the textbook. The shadowing exercise was a little tough because I needed to listen and talk at the same time. Junko was very positive and encouraging, which is important to keep motivated while learning!

Great lesson with Junko! We started with small talk about the weather and back-to-school. After that, we continued with chapter 6 in the textbook and finished it. We did some exercises on giving directions and new kanji. Junko is very encouraging and brushes off any mistakes I make!

Great lesson with Junko! We talked about the weather and about classical ballet. After that, we continued with the chapter on "going to the post office". We learned some new vocabulary and did several listening exercises. I liked the listening exercise on getting directions to the store. It was fun!

Great lesson with Junko! We talked about a new restaurant opening up, about kokuhaku in Japan and about sun umbrellas. After that, we did some more listening exercises and grammar from the textbook. For one exercise, I typed the missing words. It was fun, and doing the listening exercises is really helping me understand!

I have had lessons with Junko for about 6 months. Her class is very relaxed and she is very supportive. We practice listening comprehension a lot, which has been very helpful. We also practice reading and kanji, which is also helping. Junko's lessons are fun and I enjoy learning with her!
