This was my first full lesson with Takako-sensei after a trial class, and I’m very grateful for her thoughtful approach. She took time to understand my goals and to figure out the best way forward, because my four skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—are at different levels. Choosing the right materials can be tricky when one skill is stronger than the others, but she patiently explored different options with me. I really appreciate how she listens and adapts so the lesson fits my needs.
