Hello! My name is Tomomi, and I have been living in the UK for over 10 years.
I am originally from Gunma, Japan. Before moving to the UK, I studied jewelry design and metal engraving in Tokyo, and after graduating, I worked as an office employee.
I also gained experience working at a travel agency in London.
My hobbies include watching movies, listening to music, traveling, enjoying coffee, cooking and eating delicious food(I am a big foodie 😋). I also love talking with people from different backgrounds 🎵

Actualmente estoy haciendo un curso de formación de profesores de japonés y espero obtener el certificado en 2025 🤞.
He estudiado mucho inglés y sigo aprendiendo cada día mientras vivo en el Reino Unido. Debido a esto, entiendo cómo se sienten los estudiantes de idiomas y las personas que viven en el extranjero, y sé cómo ayudarles a mantenerse motivados 💪.
Aunque no entiendas nada de japonés o no te sientas seguro de ti mismo, ¡no te preocupes!
Estaré apoyándote y manteniéndote relajado durante mis clases😄.
Actualmente estoy estudiando para convertirme en un profesor de japonés cualificado.
Yo misma he estudiado inglés durante mucho tiempo y vivo en el Reino Unido, por lo que estoy aprendiendo inglés todos los días. Así que entiendo lo que se siente al ser un estudiante de idiomas o vivir en un país distinto al tuyo y sé cómo mantenerte motivado.
No pasa nada si no entiendes nada de japonés o si no te sientes seguro de ti mismo.

I have had a handful of lessons with Tomomi Sensei and I really enjoy how easy it is to digest Japanese with her. I don’t feel pressured to be correct and it’s fun to try. When Tomomi Sensei does correct me, she does it in a way that I don’t feel bad or like I’m not trying hard enough. I also really enjoy the lesson summaries she creates as I find them really helpful to look over.

I've had two lessons with Tomomi Sensei now and I'm really enjoying it. It's really easy to talk with Tomomi Sensei. The way she explains things is easy to understand and she's very patient with me while I try to formulate my answers. I've already booked another lesson!! I think I can get far in my Japanese studies with Tomomi Sensei c:

I’ve only had a couple of lessons with Tomomi so far and I’m really enjoying it; She’s very interactive and creates good content to work with during lessons. I look forward for more lessons to keep improving my Japanese!

it was my second lesson with Tomomi, and she is a wonderful teacher. she is patient when i make mistakes, and is helping me very well to learn japanese😊

i had a lovely trial lesson. i look forward to continuing my studies with Tomomi. she had a very nice approach, and i felt comfortable and encouraged at all times. i recommend her lessons wholeheartedly.
