みつお先生 is a very patient and calm person. So I don't feel pressured even when I struggle to form basic sentences or when I make very basic grammar mistakes. He teaches me naturally spoken Japanese that is used in real life which I really appreciate. Because the textbook only teaches us formal Japanese that may or may not be used in real life.

With some other tutors it has sometimes been difficult to fill the time with enough to talk about (that I can say and understand), but with Mitsuo-san the lesson time is over before I know it. Such an inspiration for sticking with this tough language!

Mitsuo was super nice to talk to. He kept the conversation up with no issue and was just generally a super nice guy. I will be booking another conversation with him soon.

Mitsuo-san is very patient listening to my Japanese speaking. He is always willing to repeat or explain what I don't understand. His questions amplify the conversation, which is one of the aspects that makes lessons with him so enjoyable and helpful.
