¡Hola!
Estudié psicología durante 4 años en Melbourne y pasé unos años trabajando con niños que tienen autismo y retraso en el desarrollo. Sin embargo, me gusta mucho viajar, así que decidí tomar un descanso de mis estudios en el campo, y trasladarse al extranjero a Grecia para que pueda estar inmerso en la cultura griega de mis padres y viajar a los países vecinos en Europa.
Otras de mis aficiones son cocinar, ver películas, dibujar, leer y hacer senderismo. Me encanta conocer gente nueva; probar comidas nuevas y salir a la naturaleza.Mostrar idioma original
Yo como profesor
No tengo formación formal como profesora, pero fui terapeuta conductual durante más de 5 años, lo que implicaba enseñar y mantener nuevas habilidades para niños pequeños con autismo y retraso en el desarrollo.
Aprovechando mi experiencia trabajando en este entorno, soy relajada y me gusta crear un ambiente de aprendizaje atractivo y divertido; para que ambos podamos disfrutar del proceso. Soy muy amable y paciente, y puedo adaptarme a tu estilo de aprendizaje. Mis clases y método de enseñanza
Ofrezco un espacio distendido y agradable para practicar juntos una conversación informal en griego o en inglés; hablando de cualquier tema que nos resulte interesante a ambos. De este modo, podemos conocernos en un ambiente relajado y, al mismo tiempo, ejercitar tus habilidades lingüísticas.
Dependiendo de tus necesidades particulares de aprendizaje, podemos adaptar nuestras clases. Por ejemplo, puedo ayudarte a preparar exámenes o a repasar vocabulario con el que tengas dificultades. Marianna is an amazing teacher. She is always energetic and positive. The time spent in class with her really flies by. Every time, an hour has passed before I even realize it. She is very patient. When I try to organize my language, she will wait for me patiently. If I have any uncertain words or pronunciations, she will also communicate with me directly to tell me. At first, I always felt that I would have difficulty communicating with native English speakers, but now I really look forward to every class with her. I'm no longer afraid to speak English. At the same time, her accent and pronunciation are very clear, so there is no need to worry at all that you won't understand if your foundation is not good. Even if you are an introverted person who is afraid of embarrassment, it doesn't matter. Because she will patiently guide you to speak more, express yourself more or describe yourself. In short, learning from her is really a very happy thing!

My first lesson with Marianna was very nice. She was very kind to postpone the lesson upon my request because of a work issue and we held the class a few hours after that. She was very forthcoming and spoke clearly and slowly and if ever she spoke too fast she was happy to repeat what she said after I told her that I didn't understand everything that well.
The conversation with her was never boring and we laughed quite a bit.
Also when discussing what we could do in the upcoming classes she was happy to take in my ideas and incorporate them.
I am very happy with my first class with her and am looking forward to having an other class with her soon.
