Maiko

During the trial lesson, I found that Maiko is very enthusiastic, and eager to teach. We gauged my skill level and discussed what I would need to focus on. Maiko is very good at finding your weakness and helping you learn and retain information!

She always prepared thoroughly for the class. All aspects of Japanese were very well explained according to my needs. The atmosphere of her class is relaxed and ideal for practicing speaking skills. I have learnt a lot in her lessons and highly recommend Maiko as Japanese teacher.

In class, she used different ways to teach me through talking and practice. When I got stuck trying to say something, she always found out what I wanted to express and helped me say it right. Her kind and professional teaching made learning feel natural and useful.

As always, I love Maiko sensei and her ability to present with amazing examples and PowerPoints on seemingly any point. I am improving very fast thanks to her! I highly recommend her as a tutor!!!!

Maiko sensei is amazing at grammar (she's amazing at everything though)! I was very impressed with how she helps me with targeted examples and seemingly custom-made slide shows. I really appreciate the effort she puts into her lessons and will definitely be back.
