Anahí Fandiño

This is my second class with Anahí. She is fantastic! I’m very much a visual and creative learner so I really like that she uses a mixture of visual cues, colours, structured columns, diagram and other creative ways to make learning fun. I also really appreciate that she shows me different types of commonly used verbs and their conjugations together. Seeing them in one list and having examples are so great for learning them well. Learning the conjugations definitely feels easier :D muchísimas gracias!🙏🏻 looking forward to my next lesson with her.

Anahí is an amazing teacher that creates a fun, engaging, and instructive atmosphere in each class. She plans different exercises that allow me to practice new conversation topics and new vocabulary. Throughout the class she is very kind, patient, and professional. I highly recommend Anahí!

Another great class with Anahí today! Today we went over the basics of the subjunctive and phrases to use with it. She explained it very well, and I am a lot more comfortable using it when speaking now. Anahí is very flexible with scheduling, very patient, professional with her class materials, and would highly recommend her to anyone starting their Spanish journey or needs a partner to practice with. 🙏🏾

Anahi is an exceptional Spanish instructor! What I appreciate most about her teaching is the way she encourages students to express themselves fully through engaging, in-depth questions. In my opinion, expressing yourself as much as possible in another language is essential to learning it. When it’s your turn to speak, she lets you finish your thoughts and storytelling before correcting any mistakes you may have made. When she speaks, she stops to check in every now and then to make sure you understand what she is explaining. She also introduces activities or discussion-based games from time to time that naturally lead to deeper conversations on more complex topics or promote quick, spontaneous responses. She adapts her approach to each student’s individual needs and learning style effectively. Overall, her teaching style has been a genuinely positive influence on my Spanish learning journey, and I believe many would greatly benefit from her thoughtful and effective approach.

Anahí is very patient and encouraging during our lessons and her way of teaching the conjugations is very clear and concise which is extremely helpful. I just need to spend some time reviewing so that I can better use and remember them. For context, I read way better than I can speak and listen but, with her help, I am confident I will get much better. I have enjoyed our lessons and look forward to more. Muchísimas gracias 💕

I always have great lessons with Anahí! The thing I like most is the constant opportunity to express myself during her classes. This approach is much better than just sitting and studying vocabulary, in my opinion. Anahí listens and corrects me whenever I make mistakes, especially the bigger ones. I would say there is no better teaching technique for helping someone learn a language. It’s always nice to be in a “classroom” setting with someone who can immediately understand your level and adjust accordingly to help you express yourself at a higher level. All of this, combined with Anahí's lighthearted energy and great sense of humor, makes these classes fun and enjoyable every time :)
