JAHYEON KOO

I had a great first lesson today with Jahyeon! We began with an intro conversation for the first half hour to learn more about eachother. He’s a great conversationalist, very engaged, asking questions to keep things flowing. He has a kind personality that made me feel comfortable even when making mistakes. I love how he also gave his own thoughts and opinions, truly testing my comprehension! He wrote down new phrases and words for easy reference. During the second half, we looked at a short story excerpt that I wrote, as well as some screenshots that contained words I didn’t understand. For the short story, he helped revise by showing me natural ways to phrase my thoughts, and explained why certain phrases weren’t used. For the screenshots, he broke down the unknown phrases and provided helpful examples using them! It was a fun and productive class. I left feeling like I’ve learned so much more to improve my Korean skills. I look forward to our next class!

It was a productive session where I reviewed practical dialogues to enhance my communication skills for travel.

He’s very kind and patient! I can tell he really wants me to get better and help me, he customises the lesson every time to suit my needs and is very creative! I really recommend taking his lessons:)
