Juan is an excellent teacher

I have been studying with Juan Pablo for a while now, and I need to add that he is just a really good guy. He is generous with his time and his life, and he is more than a teacher. He is a mentor and a friend. You are missing out if you don't spend time with him.

Juan is an excellent Spanish teacher He gave excellent examples and made the class immersive as possible.

What a great lesson! Today we talked about connectors that can be used in proposing arguments, such as in debate, and applied it to current events. It is a challenging topic, and one that I truly need in order to grow in my use of Spanish beyond just everyday conversation. I learned new vocabulary words and idioms, such as 'trincante,' 'sulfurado,' and 'una golondrina no hace invierno.' I appreciate Juan Pablo's preparation, patience, encouragement, and expertise. A superb tutor. Highly recommended.

Juan Pablo was professional in demeanor and created a safe space for the student. His accent was very clear, and his diction/choice of words was elegant. I felt that there was a good balance between listening and speaking tasks. He was calm and encouraging, provided corrections or suggestions on how to express ideas as needed, and gave good feedback. I liked how the lesson included concrete (e.g., what is your hometown like?) as well as more abstract topics (e.g., why is history interesting to you?). Gracias, Juan Pablo!
