Excellent teacher. Elisa is a CELI examiner with a sharp diagnostic eye — she identifies exactly what's wrong and names the rule behind it. Her corrections are structured and tiered: deep explanations on the structures we're actively working on, lighter touch on smaller slips. If you're serious about pushing past the intermediate plateau into real educated production — subjunctive, pronoun work, tense aspect — she's the right teacher. Highly recommended.

Elisa is a very patient and bubbly person and I am very much enjoying my lessons with her. I chose the Italian Book Club format, which is a creative way to improve your Italian while reading a novel - great for book-lovers and anyone who wants something different from the typical structure of learning with a textbook. Elisa provides detailed guides that help you while reading, including difficult vocabulary and cultural tidbits to help you improve your knowledge of Italian culture. Highly recommended!

She was patient and enthusiastic!

Elisa is a wonderful teacher. I highly recommend her as a teacher. She is very knowledgeable, patient, caring, and keeps the lessons fun and interesting. Plus she truly understands what it takes to learn a new language. I am an English speaker trying to learn Italian. Elisa has helped me learn Italian and I have successfully progressed from knowing almost nothing to being able to hold conversations, ask questions (and understand the answers), read important texts, write letters and emails and understand people. She is also helping me to prepare to pass the B1-C CILS test. She is very knowledgeable on the Italian CILS and CELI tests and built me a lesson plan and strategy to help me achieve my goal of both passing the B1-C CILS test and also be able to speak/write/read/listen Italian well-enough to navigate living in Italy. And she has a great positive attitude, is very organized and a patient teacher - all things I really appreciate in a language teacher. I highly recommend her.
