I can actively feel my Japanese conversational abilities improving with Kiyomi-sensei. It's always a fun time speaking with her! I'd previously learned how to speak some Japanese with my prior grammar teacher but I find that having someone to actively talk to and focus on conversation will make you more fluent more quickly. Her rates are affordable and her classes are incremental and also teach new common words and grammar. I went back and listened to some of the N4 listening practice questions I was struggling with three-four months ago and find that I can understand almost everything now! Highly recommend giving her a try.

Kiyomi-sensei is quite literally the sweetest teacher you can find on this app. Every lesson I feel so excited to attend :)

She prepared and adjusted lesson materials for my needs and gave the most useful expressions for my situation. I am looking forward having another class with her after the event.

I'm really happy to take classes with Kiyomi-sensei. She prepares her lessons thoroughly, and they are always well-structured. She also regularly makes sure the content is at the right level for me and checks whether I understand everything well. She takes time to explain the points I didn’t understand, giving plenty of examples, which I really appreciate. She’s very encouraging and has a wonderful personality that makes me feel comfortable during the lessons. I also love that she teaches me Japanese mainly in Korean : it makes the learning process more effective thanks to the similarities between the two languages. Another thing I love is the balance between speaking, reading, and the exercises we do to practice the grammar or vocabulary learned in class. 先生、今日もお疲れ様でした！
