Hi! I’m Anita from Latvia. I speak Latvian and Russian fluently, and I’ve been living in the UK for many years, so I also speak good English. I’m a Community Tutor offering friendly conversation practice in Latvian and Russian. I have a background in education with a degree in preschool and primary teaching, but my sessions are relaxed and informal. We can chat about everyday topics, hobbies, or anything you like. My lessons are easygoing and flexible. I focus on speaking and listening, so you can feel more confident using Latvian or Russian in real situations. We’ll have relaxed conversations based on your interests — like daily life, hobbies, travel, or anything else you enjoy. I always aim to create a comfortable space where you can learn without pressure. Lessons are adjusted to your level and goals.
My goal is to help you speak more confidently and naturally in a supportive environment.

Thank you Anita for a wonderful and special conversation experience. I loved your exercise with the emotions. Latvian is a very difficult language for an English speaker and you helped me begin to navigate Latvian conversation. You are a very flexible and caring teacher and very patient and fun.
