Melis Solak

Մելիսը ամենալաւ ուսուցչուհին է, համբերատար է, հաճելի է, և միշտ կը ժպտի. և ամենալաւն այն է, որ միշտ ինձ հետ հայերեն կը խոսոի!!

I had a 30-minute trial lesson with Melis, and it was a great introduction to what learning with her will be like. She laid out what to expect and made sure to address the goals I shared in my initial message. During our session, we reviewed several letters and their sounds, then practiced combining them to form simple words. We also worked on basic introductory phrases like “yes,” “no,” “how are you,” “good,” and “really good.” Melis was patient, kind, and very encouraging throughout the lesson. I’m looking forward to continuing lessons with her and would highly recommend her to anyone interested in learning Western Armenian.

My first lesson with Melis was a success: she had a plan for the session, but was able to adapt very quickly to me and my capacity to take on new material- a sure sign of a capable teacher. I am looking forward to my next lesson!
