Great lesson with Pihu! We had some basic conversation. Pihu asked me to make some sentences using "to like", which I did..and she told me a more natural way to talk about liking to eat something. We also read the story that Pihu sent me about "my day". I was able to read it and Pihu helped where necessary. We also reviewed the numbers 1-20. At each point, Pihu made sure that I understand and asked if I had any questions. Pihu is giving me challenges, but is there to help when I need... which really helps me learn!

Great lesson with Pihu! We reviewed some vocabulary and some consonants. We also learned about saying "I have". We revised the vocabulary for parts of the face. Pihu is good at making sure that I understand and really grasp the information. Learning with her is fun!

Great lesson with Pihu! We continued learning how to blend consonant and vowel sounds. Pihu really helped with getting the proper pronunciation. We also learned some useful phrases, like "I understand". Pihu was happy when I told her that I was trying to read without looking at the romanization. Pihu is good at mixing things up and keeping the lesson interesting at all times!

Great lesson with Pihu! We started with Pihu quizzing me on vocabulary...and I need to study more. After that, we learned more about combining consonant and vowel sounds. Next, we learned about "my" for plural nouns, and a little about how to make singular nouns plural. Pihu kept things interesting and used some picture flashcards to help me recall vocabulary. It was a fun lesson and I'm making a lot of progress!

Pihu was very friendly and provided great feedback for my first lesson. She used worksheets and quizzed me on what I was learning as we went along. I'm looking forward to continuing!
