The lesson with Robin is always fun and time flies. Today’s grammar lesson was about the prepositions of the movement : to, into, in, at. The things I especially should remember are those…. 1. Do not say “to home”. “I’m on my way home. “ is collect. 2. When I want to simply describe direction use “to”. If I want to plus my emotion use “at” . 3. Use “in” after arrive for countries and cities. Not “at”. Then we learned the article of the text, the left part of “Air” and finished it. At last as an advice for my bit of hesitation, “ when I study, I have to think about it a lot, but when I have a test or use the thing I learn, don’t think to much but follow the instinct .” That is true.

Robin‘s lesson is always very good . Fun to talk with him, good text. Also enjoying conversation with him and concentrating on the textbook (grammar/topic ). Today‘s lesson was mostly about prepositions of „place(at, in, on)“ and also „prepositions of time“ (at, in,on). I didn’t think about them with specific reasons to use. So it‘s interesting for me to make them clear. Besides it‘‘s one of my weak points. Thank you Robin and see you next week .

I learned about “prepositions of time— from/ since/ for. To make short, for perfect tense “since” is the safest to choose. “From….to” for past and future , but don’t use with a perfect tense. “For” is used about a “period of time “. Then we learned about modal verbs (past form) with perfect tense. It was a bit tough for me ( probably most Japanese’ weak point). I use those modal verbs but not in the perfect past tense . Well, perfect past tense also not so easy for us. Actually it was a very good opportunity to learn those for me. I’m going to review the lesson, especially this category . At last we learn with the topic “air”. It was the just a beginning part, then wasn’t that difficult . Without reading the texts before the lesson is tough. But the way I make mistakes and review it after the lesson is more effective as Robin said. I’ll keep doing this.

It was fun to have Robin‘s lesson. Today‘s grammar was about the prepositions of time— for, during, while. I’ve never known those difference surely from grammatical side. So every lesson is news to me. Sometimes it amazes me and other times it make sense to me. 1. for…+ period of time, can use in all tenses. 2. during…+ Noun / also +the week/the summer/the afternoon 3.while…+ subject +verb / * the presence tense after while when we talk about the future ( o while I’m there / X while I will be there). Then we did the article in the textbook „A lucky find“. I always into the lesson and time flies.

Patrik’s lesson is really fun, at the same time very good. I like the texts he sent me also. Today I continued the text we did last week. Then the next one,”Extreme words”. I didn’t know some words at all, and also didn’t know “it’s not allowed to use “absolutely “ with common adjectives . With “extreme words”, it can be used. But if it’s adjective, it’s okay to use to gather. He collected my habitual mistakes, too. For example the pronunciation of my “effortless” was wrong , then not “ too much cheaper”, “so much cheaper “ is collect , so on. The conversation of the beginning of his lesson also interesting. Then grammatical rules, behind the way of using the word, concerning about the class (upper /lower))exists, those are also (of course , must be so but ) interesting. I already got ten tickets package. I’m looking forward to having Robin’s next lesson.
