Rhys is very friendly and open-minded. He prepares each lesson very professionally and tailors them to individual needs. He speaks in a way that is easy to understand, responds to questions in a very helpful and clear manner and always leaves enough space for students to express themselves and bring up their own topics and concerns. I really enjoy his lessons!

Great class! Diolch yn fawr. Rhys is an absolutely fantastic Welsh teacher. His classes are engaging, well-structured, and genuinely enjoyable. He’s a true professional who comes extremely well-prepared to the lesson. Rhys uses a variety of teaching methods that keep things interesting and help the material really sink in. He has a wonderful way of explaining things clearly and patiently, especially when it comes to pronunciation. What I loved most was how quickly he got us speaking Welsh — even in the very first lesson. He also provided a helpful overview of both the Welsh language and the culture of Wales, which made the learning experience feel much richer. Rhys is not only knowledgeable but also really fun to listen to and speak with. His warm and encouraging style makes you feel comfortable practicing and making mistakes. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough. If you’re thinking of learning Welsh, definitely book a class with Rhys.

I have been having Welsh classes with Rhys as a beginner. He has helped me tremendously on my journey, building my confidence and giving me the chance to speak in Welsh. You will get so much more out of your learning than from using Duolingo alone. His classes are professional, with slides and plenty of opportunity to practise speaking. Afterwards, he provides all the learning materials for you to self-study. I would highly recommend him.
