I recently got C1 in the TCF speaking section (14/20), and I really want to thank Tana here. She is probably my absolute favorite French teacher on italki (well, I feel a little bad saying this because I’ve had so many other amazing tutors who helped me a lot there too, but Tana really is special to me). Talking with her felt like talking to a friend, and I learned so many useful expressions and vocabulary for different topics. She also helped me improve my grammar naturally. After I failed my first attempt, Tana encouraged me a lot and helped me feel confident again. She told me I could nail it next time, and I actually did on my second attempt! Since I’ve gotten my ideal TCF score, I may take a break from French for a while, but when I have more free time and want to continue improving, I’ll definitely come back to take lessons with Tana again :D

Tana made the session a safe space to learn, which is a very good condition for a learner like me, making me more courageous to express and receptive to feedback being taught. Thanks so much, Tana!

Tana is an excellent teacher. She is always thoroughly prepared for class and uses time very effectively. Thanks to her great time management, we were able to cover an entire topic in one session. What’s more, she is genuinely warm and enthusiastic, which makes her classes truly enjoyable for students.
