Gao Kexin

Lessons are always very engaging!

Kexin is a wonderful teacher. I really like the approach she takes in my lessons of teaching mostly through the target language (Chinese) and through lively conversation. So far, each lesson has been very well thought out with some being more free-form/ conversational and others being more structured depending on what is covered during the lesson. I find the lessons very interactive and appreciate how much I am given the opportunity to produce the language myself (i.e. making a sentence with a new word in, being asked my opinion on a new word) as well as how seamlessly this is incorporated into the lesson. I find that the notes I get after each lesson are written thoughtfully enough to be a useful learning resource by themselves. Lastly, it is also really nice to have a teacher who is also interested in and knowledgable about languages and cultures around the world as it means I get to have conversations that I would find engaging even in my native language.

Kě xīn is a fantastic teacher. She has a great attitude, is very organized, but also skilled in shaping the lesson to your needs. I am excited to take more classes with her and highly recommend her.

Gao is an excellent teacher. She is very passionate and skilled and helping beginners grasp the concepts behind learning the Chinese language. Her English is very good.
