Patrick is friendly and does a good job giving me opportunities to speak by asking me questions. He is patient with my slow talking 😊 He seems to know a lot of history of my country and asks some interesting questions!

He's so good that I absolutely forbid anyone else from engaging him...so that I have more of his time for myself, of course! 🤣

I have probably tried 30 different French teachers on Italki. Patrick is the best.

This teacher is so good, that the 'bad angel' on my one shoulder urges me against praising him too much here, because others will book hours that I'd selfishly prefer to reserve for myself! :) But the "good angel" on my other shoulder always wins that 'competition.' :) Seriously: Patrick is excellent, 'one in a million.' I'd book him every day if I could! If you're thinking about engaging him, you don't have to worry about 'taking a chance' on him: he's 'a sure thing.' You can engage him with the utmost confidence.

Already I have such high confidence in this gentleman's work that I could unreservedly "pre-score" all of his future lessons as 5/5 already, today. I can hardly believe my good fortune in having found him as I was navigating the italki sea of teachers. Unfortunately, of the ten "teacher qualities" given by Italki as options for this review, I was allowed to choose only 3, when in fact this teacher embodies all of them 5/5. There's one quality that's not listed, and it's perhaps the most important one: adaptability. I tried to hint at that quality by choosing both "energetic" and "calm," seemingly contradictory, but in the flow of the lesson those qualities complement each other, and go precisely to my point about this teacher's adaptability. Patrick holds my strongest recommendation, whether you're a child, the parent of a child, a student at any school, or, like me, an old, retired RN. :)
