I'm a certified German and Norwegian teacher and an open-minded citizen of the world who loves languages, people, walks in nature, cats, humor, different cultures, art, spicy food and learning new things. My professional background ranges from teaching to tourism, management and humanitarian work.
Being originally from Germany, I am fortunate to have lived in different parts of the world (USA, Sri Lanka, Ghana, Portugal). Right now Norway is my home of choice, but who know where the journey goes next...

Para mí es importante conocer a mis alumnos, ya que así puedo adaptarme a su nivel lingüístico, sus objetivos, sus estilos de aprendizaje, sus intereses, sus puntos fuertes y sus dificultades.
El hecho de haber aprendido varios idiomas de diferentes maneras, junto con mi experiencia profesional en la enseñanza de idiomas y mi propia personalidad, me permite adoptar un enfoque muy paciente, flexible y alegre hacia la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de idiomas. Una parte importante de mi labor consiste en motivar a los alumnos, establecer expectativas realistas y crear un entorno de aprendizaje seguro. Mis clases y método de enseñanza
I would not say that I have a fixed teaching style, but am happy to stay flexible and adjust lessons individually to each student. We all learn differently and might also have different goals. Generally, I like to focus on practical every-day language use and building confidence in a relaxed atmosphere which allows to make (and also laugh about) mistakes. Lessons have a focus on conversation, but might include reading, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and a wide range of authentic material. I am happy to help you on every step of your language learning journey, at the very start as a beginner, or somewhere in the middle on an intermediate or advanced level.Mi material didáctico
