Lia

I've had a few classes with Lia and am extremely impressed by her skills as a teacher. She is very friendly, adaptable to your level, and make lessons thoroughly enjoyable. I plan on continuing our lessons well into the future.

Lia is an amazing teacher. My daughter (12) has been learning with her, a couple of times a week, for about two years and she has made wonderful progress. Until now, she had been focussed on speaking but not she is also working on her reading and writing.

I have completed 20+ lessons with Teacher Lia and I can advise anyone who is looking for well structured, fun and insightful Chinese classes to give Teacher Lia a try. I am getting a deeper understanding of what I’m learning which is priceless.

I just checked and I am learning with Lia since 2018. I realized it is time to write a new review. I don't have much time every week, but I managed to make lots of progress with Lia, one lesson at a time. Lia is super professional, always on time (and very understanding when I am not), a very sharp person with a vast life experience. Learning with her is really effective for me. Every lesson is different and interesting. We usually read small stories together, learn the new words and have interesting conversations. Lia somehow remembers exactly which words I should know and which I haven't learned yet, and all kinds of details about my life that I probably told her years ago. I am not sure how she does this but it is pretty amazing. Whenever I walk around the world and strike a conversation with a Chinese speaker, they are always impressed, and I always tell them that it is not me that is impressive, it is my teacher. Thank you for everything!
