Giacomo Farfis

Ich lerne fast täglich mit Giacomo und es ist immer wieder sehr angenehm. Es ist nie langweilig und macht Spaß, es fühlt sich nicht nach Arbeit an und dadurch vergeht die Zeit wie im Flug. Durch seine Erfahrung kann er sehr gut einschätzen wo die Stärken und Schwächen der Sprachschüler liegen und geht gut auf diese ein. Zudem kriegt man auch immer wieder Übungsaufgaben von Giacomo zu Themen, an welchen man noch arbeiten kann und meist gehen wir diese dann auch gemeinsam im Nachgang durch. Da ich schon viele Lehrer kennengelernt habe kann ich uneingeschränkt sagen: Giacomo ist wirklich ein sehr guter Lehrer.

Giacomo è il miglior insegnante che ho trovato su Italki. Dopo 30 lezioni con lui, ho imparato tantissimo e adesso riesco a parlare in italiano con chiunque, senza problemi. Giacomo è una persona davvero gentile e tranquilla, e le sue lezioni sono sempre divertenti. In particolare, apprezzo molto la sua conoscenza dell'inglese e dello spagnolo: mi aiuta sempre quando ho un dubbio o commetto un errore. Parlare con lui è facilissimo perché ti fa sentire a tuo agio. Non vedo l'ora di fare la mia prossima lezione con Giacomo!

Very personable and knowledgeable

Giacomo has been a fantastic teacher over the past year and a half of lessons. He does a tremendous job of balancing when to practice patience and when to challenge me further. His teaching style and insights adapt as my own skills improve, enabling me to consistently break plateaus and never stagnate. He also does a great job of going beyond the materials we review; he always provides additional details and colloquial uses of things that I wouldn't just find in a book. On top of all of this, conversations flow naturally with him and he's truly reliable and dedicated to his craft. I can't recommend Giacomo enough to anyone trying to improve their language skills regardless of current ability!

A good review of a grammar chapter. Answering and discussing questions from an Italian textbook.

I've been learning conversational Italian with Giacomo and I can already notice the improvement in my conversation skills. Giacomo has a lot of experience teaching Italian, his lessons are interactive allowing me to do most of the talking to practice recalling words, conjugating verbs all while holding a conversation. We use an Italian conversation textbook to guide the conversation topics, review useful words and phrases and that works very well.
