Hi! My name is Jeremy and I have lived in 8 countries, graduated from Universiteit van Amsterdam (UvA), and completed Staatsexamens (I & II) and CNaVT. I teach Dutch to children aged 12+ and adults, A1-B2, as well as Spanish and English (my native language) at all levels.
I love helping others with languages! For 30+ years, I have learned languages and understand the complexities, challenges, and different methods to progress and improve. Speaking with people who have different native tongues, accents, and cultures comes easily to me. I recognize different learning styles and a student's specific needs, having completed a 250-hour language teaching course and 2,500+ hours of experience!Mis clases y método de enseñanza
I specialize in teaching adults (12+ years) at a beginner or intermediate level, including absolute beginners. I teach grammar, pronunciation, and practical expressions with courses that include subjects, exercises, and examples. My lessons start with vocabulary and pronunciation and then move on to reading and writing, continuously listening to the language, and speaking with dialogues.

Tras varias clases con Jeremy, puedo decir que es un profesor atento. Siempre te hace partícipe de la clase. Te pregunta si quieres tarea. Refuerza la gramática, y vamos viendo poco a poco más vocabulario. Ahora puedo entender a mis compañeros de trabajo!

Jeremy has helped me so much in the past two months to prepare for the Inburgering exams. Jeremy has a unique perspective having learnt other languages before becoming fluent in Dutch and he was able to explain concepts clearly. I highly recommend Jeremy for Dutch lessons and exam preparation.
