After being a flight attendant and a certified Italian/English interpreter, I taught Italian in California and during a long stay in India, I got my Hatha Yoga teacher certification . Speaking foreign languages , my Yoga and meditation background helped me being empathic , supportive and understanding towards my students! Students think my teaching is clear , well-structured and stress free , taking into account the difficulties of my native language . I have extensive experience with students of all ages and motivations :travelling, communicating with relatives & friends, working , school studying or simply enjoying to learn /improve Italian!

Sylvia is a fantastic instructor. She is energetic, focused, and makes the classes a lot of fun. I have learned a great deal from her in a short period of time, and I really appreciate how much she tailors the lessons to my needs. She is adaptable does a great job minimizing the use of English to increase my exposure to Italian even though I am a beginner. This has helped me improve rapidly. I have studied several languages and would highly recommend Sylvia to anyone interested in learning Italian.
