The lesson itself was fine, and I was excited by the list of books Maria gave me. When I came to book another lesson, I selected a time, but Maria cancelled it stating she doesn’t work at that time, although it was available. I was unable to accept the new proposed time, so I had to cancel the new lesson time. Now where I’m at a point where I will be transitioning away from other clases and have more availability, I discovered I cannot book more classes…it’s seems I’ve been blocked for no reason other than me selecting a slot that she did not want to teach and not being able to accept the new proposed time. This is all disappointing, especially since I was excited to continue.

I had a very nice tryout class with Maria, she was patient and listened to my goals.

Another fantastic lesson. Maria was very well prepared and today we practised the subjunctive some more which Maria made enjoyable (which isn't easy!). The class went for 1 hour but felt more like 20 minutes because she is able to keep the lesson constantly moving and interesting. She definitely has a gift for teaching and I am thinking that once I master Spanish I might get French lessons from her! Thank you Maria.
